Trying out a different technique by first painting an image in greyscale and them colour it.

I have seen this technique used by many digital painters but never applied it myself. I used to think why paint the same image twice, once in greyscale then in colour. But after using this technique once, I have to say it is not such a bad idea. It is a so much easier to see greyscale values than colour values.

I am fairly happy with how the image turn out but have to refine the technique a lot more.

Right. I played this when I was a kid and there is a level with a house with stairs looking so similar to the one on the picture. And the woman could be one of the vampires in the house.
